The Rozenburg Sounding-board Group visited Koch and Vopak Oil Rotterdam on Monday, 25 September. Both companies received a warm welcome from the Mayor of Rozenburg, Ms. M.J. de Sutter-Besters.
Prior to the company visits both companies gave a brief presentation about their operations. During the excursion small groups of residents, accompanied by a guide, visited Koch’s oil refinery and the construction site of Vopak’s new fingerpier and fuel-oil tanks.

After the visits the large number of visitors were offered an opportunity to ask questions; Maarten de Hoog, member of the DCMR Management Board, also answered a number of questions.
